SoHo20 Chelsea is pleased to present "Head Waters", an exhibit of recent oil paintings by Suzanne Ritger. This body of work is inspired by the waterscapes of the Gihon River in Vermont and the puddles, ponds, and marinas along the Hudson River in New York.

This recent work builds on the same theme of reflections and water patterns that Ritger has developed throughout the last 20 years in her work. These recent paintings focus on the shapes, patterns, and disorientation created by water reflections of nearby buildings and riverbanks of Vermont and New York.

"Head Waters" is Ritger's third solo exhibit at SOHO20 Chelsea. Ritger has also recently shown work at the Dietz Space in Tribeca, Cooler Gallery in Vermont, and Ameringer Yohe Gallery in Florida. She earned her Masters of Fine Art at Johnson State College in VT and currently lives and works in New York City.
